Sometimes finding where to get help is one of the biggest hurdles. In times like these, our team of psychologists and psychiatrists can guide you in the right direction and give you a better understanding of your mental health, the treatment you need, as well as helping you to navigate the health system.

Mental Health Navigator provides you with a discreet and confidential way to seek an assessment of your mental health by connecting you with a team of New Zealand registered mental health professionals – all from the comfort of your own home.

How does it work?

Request the service and a mental health professional will contact you.

  • 1 Request a consultation

    Request the service.

  • 2 Talk to a mental health nurse

    One of our mental health nurses will call you and become your dedicated point of connect, providing support and guidance.

  • 3 Talk to our team of mental health professionals

    Based on your discussion with our mental health nurse we will match you to a psychologist and/or psychiatrist who will meet with you within days via video call.

  • 4 Receive a report and treatment recommendations

    You will receive a written report outlining our experts findings, allowing you to fully understand what is driving your symptoms. Your mental health nurse will discuss all of the findings with you and help you into the recommended treatment approach*.

*Mental Health Navigator is an assessment service to help with understanding your diagnosis and recommended treatment pathway. Teladoc Health do not provide treatment, however, their team can assist you with understanding the recommendations and how you may be able to access in your local area. While access to Mental Health Navigator is unlimited, as the service is designed to provide an assessment, there would need to be a significant change to your mental health or substantial time between your first diagnosis and report and any subsequent Mental Health Navigator intervention.
